We have to deploy and resolve native C++ DLLs here. There is a ArtifactType.COM_REFERENCE now, and it does also occur in the VS-importer as "com_references" some places. New, more accurate types could be native-win32 and native-win64. Also then, they could be automatically registered on resolve.

The question is, if win32 and win64 is worth to make the distinction... The regsrv-command is different, right? Is there support for native libs in mono?

the w32/64 distinction sounds like the same question we were discussing for GAC/GAC_MSIL/GAC_32/GAC_64 - maybe it can be autodetected? I'm not familiar enough with the area... also not sure how mono supports native libs (but I'm guessing it probably does).
