Need Help resolving Error

May 27, 2010 at 3:26 PM

Hi,

I have created a small project in VS 2008. Download the NPanday1.1 and extracted in C:\Documents and Settings\{UserName}\.m2\repository. I also followed the Know issues to copy the DLLs and rename in certain folders.  When I execute the command mvn install I get the below error and I have copied the entire log below. Is it the issue how I have setup NPanday or POM file or missed out some steps. Please advise or if you have some test project which works please guide me ?

Hi Dhanajaya,

sorry  for the unconvenience. This is a known issue:

Known Issues

The following files were missing from the distributed repository:

  • npanday/model/NPanday.Model.Pom/1.1/NPanday.Model.Pom-1.1-4b435f4d76e2f0e6.dll
  • npanday/plugin/NPanday.Plugin/1.1/NPanday.Plugin-1.1-4b435f4d76e2f0e6.dll

However, these files are identical to the corresponding DLL in their directory, so you can fix problems resolving them by copying:

  • npanday/model/NPanday.Model.Pom/1.1/NPanday.Model.Pom-1.1.dll to npanday/model/NPanday.Model.Pom/1.1/NPanday.Model.Pom-1.1-4b435f4d76e2f0e6.dll
  • npanday/plugin/NPanday.Plugin/1.1/NPanday.Plugin-1.1.dll to npanday/plugin/NPanday.Plugin/1.1/NPanday.Plugin-1.1-4b435f4d76e2f0e6.dll

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did follow the Know Issues and copied the Dlls.  Still I am getting the Issue? I am new to the maven and still not able to figure out the cause?

I am able to create the build using msbuild but invoking msbuild from NPanday is where I feel that I have done some thing silly which I need help?

Thanks again for your time

Regards

Have you configured anything else in your settings.xml? It looks like Maven is trying to use "C:\..." as a remote URL, so perhaps you entered a file path in an incorrect location?
