push trunk to for npanday 1.1 baseline

Hi.  I saw this one and had a question about what's happening.  When I read the commit message I thought it said 'push trunk to 1.1', but once I saw the diff it looks like you're branching for 1.1.

If so, why branch from a tag instead of from trunk?  (And if you're going to branch from a tag, wouldn't npanday_0.9.6_RC6 be a better choice, as it's newer?)

I'm curious about release plans too.  If you're branching for 1.1, what's happening with 1.0?

This is weird I'm pretty sure that I push the trunk to 1.1, but I encounter a hang-up while doing the process and it doesn't end successfully.
Since we always encounter that way with CP SVN and works for us anyway so I thought the push was successful.
I'm currently downloading the logs for this, if it is really a problem I will delete this branch and re-push the trunk again.
