You must have used following tag in one of your pom file

<dependency> 
    <groupId>org.apache.npanday.plugins</groupId> 
    <artifactId>maven-aspx-plugin</artifactId> 
    <version>1.4.0-incubating</version> 
</dependency>

I think you need to re-install Npanday, as there is one missing plugin, which Npanday could not found during build process.

I am using Npnday 1.5. I have tried to build my project using Npanday. But DLL generated using Npanday has some issue. Because When I replace that DLL with other DLL which is generated by Visual Studio 2010, then my web application runs perfectly.

Have any one buid Entity Framework Project using Napanday??

Please tell me What are the steps required to build an entity framework project using Npanday.
Mainly what changes are required to do in POM.xml file???

Please post your question to npanday-users@incubator.apache.org (if you search the archives of that list, you'll find the same question has been answered before - essentially that version of NPanday requires the group ID be NUnit, not nunit.framework)

However, the NUnit libraries can be obtained from nunit.org - the standard DLLs are those used by the build.

Hello

i'm trying to make the build of simple web application using NPanday, i am using the incubating 1.4.0 plugin for VS2010, i have successfully built C# Console or Libraries Projects using maven, but when i tried to build a web application i encounter this kind of error

I am new to npanday/maven. I installed npanday 1.4.0 as I am using Visual Studio 2010. I also downloaded maven 3.0.3. When I select 'Install' or 'Test'- All NPanday Projects-> Install for my class library solution through vs 2010 I get the following error

Is there a list of the acceptable packaging types for .NET applications?

I know dotnet-library works, but I do not know what to use for an executable. Would it be something like dotnet-exe or dotnet-executable?

I've tried looking around the documentation, but it seems very preliminary and incomplete, with very few tangible examples.

Hi,

My team has recently begun integration maven npanday as a build management solution. I've extensive use with it in the Java arena and have come back to the .Net realm and felt it was a great solution outside of the use of MS Team Suite and building our own msbuild scripts. The one thing I've noticed is that when creating a reference via the npanday plugin it will place the lib from the maven repository under a .references directory as well as in the .m2/repository directory. This is fine until I check the code in and another developer pulls the latest snapshot out of the version system. We've noticed that as we're iterating development and new versions of the same release candidate are pushed to the repository there is seemingly no way of refreshing the .m2/repository and the .references directory in the projects. Classically in maven you can simply execute mvn dependency:purge-local-repository and this would handle this for you. When executing this command with the npanday plugin for compile I've noticed nothing seems to happen via the command line. Ideally a developer could pull a fresh snap of a codebase from a development branch and assuming all others are iterating appropriately with builds to the snapshot repository simply execute the command one time to sync the .references and the .m2/repository.

It's very possible that I'm missing something here and if I am please feel free to point it out. Like I've said, I've just begun working with npanday so am very much a novice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to use deploy-file on a 3rd party .dll file.

mvn deploy:deploy-file -Durl=scp://server/var/www/maven_repo/external_free -DrepositoryId=external_free -Dfile=C:\myfile.dll -DgroupId=goup.name -DartifactId=artifact -Dversion=6.0 -DgeneratePom=true -Dpackaging=dotnet-library

The problem is I end up with files with an extension of dotnet-library in my remote repository. And I believe they should be .dll so they are recognized as artifacts when i try to "Add Maven Artifact" from visual studio. Can I perform deploys with deploy-file? What command should I use to deploy the 3rd party assemblies to my repository?
