Building NPanday

This document will help you check out and build NPanday codes.

Prerequisites

  • Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0 must be installed.
  • NUnit for 2.0 .NET framework must be installed

Setup PATH environment variable

  • Add the csc executable directory to your path
    • ie. C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
  • Add nunit-console executable to your path
    • ie. C:\Program Files\NUnit-Net-2.0 2.2.9\bin
  • Add SDK directory to your path
    • ie. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bin

Typical the PATH Environment variable would look like this:
PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files\NUnit-Net-2.0 2.2.9\bin;C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bin;

Checkout the source code

For anonymous users or committers/developers, you can checkout the codes from https://npanday.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk
You need to be a committer for you to commit codes.

Building the source code

mvn clean install

Running the integration tests

svn co https://npanday.svn.codeplex.com/svn/npanday-its/trunk npanday-its

cd npanday-its

mvn test -Prun-its

add -Dnpanday.version=... if you want to run against a different version
